    The Burnet Lane Design Collective (BLDC) is a small real estate development providing office space and business community to leading professionals in businesses serving in the luxury residential design industry.  Formerly known as The Town & Country Investment Building, Blair Burton (www.blairburtoninteriors) and her husband/partner, Mike Burton, conceived of the BLDC as a way to dramatically improve design experience for those building or remodeling their homes by creating a collaborative and extremely efficient business environment within the epicenter of Austin's interior design industry.


    The BLDC's amenities include two shared meeting areas, a break room, a separate coffee bar, abundant parking, storage facilities on property, two beautifully designed and decorated bathrooms, luxurious stone floors throughout the building, free internet, building signage, Cat 6 ethernet, inclusion in all of the BLDC's marketing efforts, and most importantly, a place to collaborate daily with the brightest minds in the business on the most beautiful projects in the Central Texas and beyond.   Additionally, the convenient location of The BLDC provides immediate access to many of Austin's finest and most popular trade-only showrooms, some of which are within walking distance!


    The Design Collective's limited tenant roster is in the process of being finalized, a process we expect to conclude by the end of the year (2023).  Space is leased by invitation only to those who are established leaders within the luxury residential design and decor industry.  If you would like to be considered for space at The Collective, please complete the inquiry form at the bottom of this page.


    At this point, office space is already extremely limited.  Present available spaces include one 120 SF space (suitable for a two-person business) and four 240 SF spaces (suitable for a four-person team).  Spaces may be combined for a larger tenant.  Similarly, we are considering offering shared (co-working) space for solo practitioners.  Virtual offices are also available.  Please let us know what type of space interests you in the contact form below.  If space is unavailable, we can add you to our waiting list at your request.


    While every lease is customized based on things like size, use, parking, and lease duration, generally speaking, we considered two main reference points for our rental rates.  First, we looked at the costs of leasing co-working space at one of Austin's many Executive Suites.  Relative to this price-point, the BLDC offers solutions at a considerable.  Second, because our office space is finished as beautifully as can be found in Austin and in the most desirable location geographically for our industry, we considered the costs of leasing space in Austin's most desirable office buildings in Austin's most central locations.  Our office space is generally speaking priced to be consistent with Class A office rates in downtown Austin.
